This is a decoy aircraft. Notice the lack of wheels, just a frame to hold the aircraft. Since the Germans were aware of the measuring of shadows in aerial photo interpretation,
it was important to have the fake aircraft sitting at the correct height. That way, fake aircraft at fake airfields would draw Allied bombs away from the real thing.
I enjoy adding to the historical record.
