Swedish pilot Ulf Christiernsson in 680 Sq.
Hello everybody!
The Swedish pilot Ulf Christiernsson (http://surfcity.kund.dalnet.se/swedish_aviators/christiernsson.htm) served as a volunteer in 680 RAF Sq. equipped with Mosquitos. In 1947 he was interviewed by a Swedish magazine where he states that he met a Me262 over Lechfeld during the summer of 1944 (August?).
Unfortunately I don’t have access to 680 Sq. ORB nor later editions of Forman’s “The Messerschmitt Me.262 Combat Diary”.
Is there anyone who has more info on which date this encounter took place?
