KLONDIKE KUTEY-, 42-24612, #12. Assigned to the 236th BIU, operating out of Alaska, their main role there was more of a test role. Weather endurance, and Arctic Climate studies, she saw duty at the Amarillo Army Airfield, but was reclaimed at Tinker where she was involved with a collision with a B-17G while taxiing. She was sent to Pyote Air Base on 09/11/50. (via B. Snodgrass)
