N3245 was damaged to Category 2 level at Manston on the 15th, but I cannot determine how it was damaged.
The F.78 for N3245 shows it as 'F.A. O. (2) 15.8.40' on page 2. The 49 M.U. ORB (AIR 29/1008) records early on the 18th being notified of N3245 at Manston (for recovery). The F.78 on page 1 notes it was Taken On Charge by No.1 Civilian Repair Unit (4 M.U.) on August 24th, but it was back on charge with 266 Squadron on August 29th.
