Thank you, but that's not what I was trying to say. Of course Velden is "near Munich", but the location "close to Munich" that I found on the internet was a town that was not near Velden. If I remember correctly the source was a relative of Major Graubner. I was hoping that because Major Graubner was Geschwaderkommodore of KG 4 it was "common knowledge" where he surrendered.
I have the same problem with a Bienenstock-crash at Velden in early May 1945. CP of the 14th AD was at Velden, so probably there was a mix-up in the reports. So far no further evidence has turned up regarding those two incidents besides the US reports.
