Lieutenant 247 IAP Zhmyrev (Shmyrev Alexey) on a Yak-1 plane was shot down in a dogfight with 4 Me-109 - fell in the Kuleshovka area. The pilot was killed, the plane crashed.
Sergeant Popov from 247 IAP made an emergency landing on a Yak-1 aircraft after an air battle 300 meters from the Koysug-2 airfield, the pilot returned to his unit. Measures have been taken to evacuate the aircraft.
