in the Loss Report there is a typo (perhaps when typing from a handwritten list - "7" and "4" are written similarly sometimes) - in that list all the losses of each regiment are arranged by date in chronological order (9, 13, 23, 24, 25).
For 07/27/1942, the combat report did not indicate the losses of the 247 IAP.
In the remaining documents, secondary information is based on the same list of division level.
On this site, the Combat Reports of 216 IAD for that period, which were published on the website "Memory of the People" (their copies from the fund 4 VA), were translated into an editable format.
