5 Boston of 57 BAP led by Kapt. Abazadze approached there target (not stated in the journal but probably in the area of Kutnya - Davydovichi, Belarus Obl). They were attacked by 12-18 Fw 190. The Boston flown by Leytenant Afonin (?) was shot down and the Boston of Mladshiy Leytenant Dubotol returned smoking.

That wovld be the crew of (P) Leytenant Vladimir Aleksandrovich Afonin, (Bom/G) Serzhant Mikhail Fedorovich Dernovsky and (ROp/G) Starshiy Serzhant Galyakbara Galyautdinovich Galyautdinov.
The pilot bailed out and returned to unit, but the other crew members perished in the crash, near Propoisk (Slawharad or Slavgorod (since 1945), about 70km SE of Mogilev), Belarus.
