Re: Hans Beisswenger 03 Dec 1942

Hi Gentlemen,

Well, on 3 December there were more losses than claims made. Rare feat indeed.
So according to the Loss Records we have :
(Unfortunately Loss Records don't provide times for the losses, and location aren't given everytime)
- [21 GIAP] (LaGG-3) Str.Lt. Leonid Nikolaevich Puchkov, KIA in aerial combat against fighters in the Kresttsy area
- [436 IAP] (P-40) Mld.Lt. Viktor Rodionovich Bondarenko, hit by fighters, bailed out but (apparently) parachute did not deploy, in the Grivko (??) Area
- [436 IAP] (P-40) Serz. Ivan Ivanovich Pokhilenko, Mia in the Strelitsy area.
- Christer Bergstrom, on his BA+RS Voi.3, states that 42 IAP (Yak-7b) lost one aircraft, but the pilot must have survived because there is no mention on Loss Records
- According to a Russian site
https://m.vk.com/wall-202923572_2052
[161 IAP] (Yak-1) Lt. Ivan Ivanovich Markin [att 10+5 (10+6 Vit)], was hit during combat, but somehow returned to unit.
According to same site, Markin was Beisswenger's victim and both 436 IAP's aircraft were lost against Stotz. As for Mueller's victim, probably the 21 GIAP machine.
