RAF He115s at Malta
Hi guys
Seeking to establish that three He115s (BV184, BV185 and BV187) operated from Malta during 1941/42.
I have a note that BV185 was damaged by bombing June 1941, repaired and lost on 22 September 1941; BV187 strafed by Bf109s on 5 February 1942 and sank; while BV184 returned to UK 24 April 1942, only to be attacked by two Spitfires and forced down.
Anyone able to confirm, please?
