The April War of 1941 was one of the turning points in the history of Yugoslavia. He was both the end and the beginning. Although it lasted only 12 days (April 6-17, 1941), many controversies are connected to its causes, course and consequences. The topic of the monograph is spatially and temporally defined already in the title.We decided on Banovina Croatia and Drava Banovina because they best reflected the complex political conditions that prevailed in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia during its existence.
