I was able to recover the missing photos plus I was able to add a few. I was torn about where to divide the wartime and pre-war photos.
My knowledge of some pre-war types is limited. I decided to break them into two groups based on markings and whether or not a swastika
appeared on the tail. You are right, these are high quality photos that should not be lost, but thanks to so-called "modern" technology,
unlike a paper record, hitting the wrong button means all is lost or needs to be recovered.
