Shot down near Stendal by Allied fighters in Ju-88A-4 (Wnr. 2290, 5K+TS) ) of 2./NJG 7 during test flight.
Also killed were (Bf) Fw. Nieder, Kurt Werner, (Bf) Uffz. Müller, Hans and (Bs) HFw. Leibelt, Gerhard
