This is a 313BW photo mosaic, North Field at top (313rd Wing) and West Field below (58th) the hundreds of dispersals are visible. Saipan is 3 miles across the Channel in the 2020 colour photo.
The 58th didn't transfer to Tinian from India until March-April, in 2 stages stopping in China ( 150 B-29s).
