Information concerning the loss of Feldwebel Josef Schwärzler - killed on a mission to England - 16.08.40?
Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Feldwebel Josef Schwärzler who was killed on a mission on the 16th August 1940?

I am hoping he was involved in missions to England but could not find him in my reference books like The Luftwaffe Crash Archive.

There is limited information about him on the prayer card so he might be a novice pilot?
