The Caudron is one of the batch delivered in 1913 and Lt Pan was one of the individuals who learned to
fly in France in 1913.
The photos are dated Aug 1917 so the type must have been imported before that date.
The lower photo has a Farman touch over it, and since I really can't believe France "showelling"
China with aircraft once the war began, it should thus be something delivered before the outbreak
of war in Europe.
The problem is that I can't find any.
It has been a long time Lennart Andersson visited this site, so I'll ask him what he thinks
