Airspeed Horsa question
An airwar friend received a small wooden piece of a Horsa glider. On it a metal plate saying: "Horsa. E of N/AS/" and numbers 02411, 31 46 99 132 243.
I guess AS means Airspeed. What is "E of N"?
Although it's written on the back of the panel that it belonged to a Horsa that crashed at Uitkerke/Blankenberge, Belgium, I reckon this is not so the case.
Thanks for any leads.
Regards, Leendert
