Hi All,
in 2025 there is the anniversary of "80 years of WW II". Because of that I want to document a mission and dog fight of the 316t FS, dated December 22nd 1944.
At that day the 316th FS met the IV./JG 53 and shot down at least 6 German fighters.
American pilots who claimed it were: Lt. Richmond, Lt. Slack, Lt. Dewey, Lt. Allen and Lt. Pardue.
Do you have any idea where I can find personal photos of this pilots? Searched in the Net but couldn´t find anything so far.
In addition Lt. Wright was shot down by the Germans, made it to bail out and became POW. There is also almost nothing related to photos.
Any idea would be very helpful.
