Oberfeldwebel Hans Galubinski
Born 12th January 1916, he flew with III./JG 53 during 1940-1944 and finally with JG 101. On 6th June 1940 during the French campaign, he shot down two French Bloch 151s but was then himself shot down in his Bf109 and taken prisoner, but not before he was shot at by the local civilians, he was released upon the French surrender. He won the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on 2nd July 1942 . He was killed on 13th January 1944 near Arniens on a transfer flight and is buried at the Bourdon War Cemetery, France .
Total Victories: 27 (18 east, 9 west). [All the claims are listed in the Mathews/Foreman book.]

His 6th, a Morane 406 at Montidier on 3 June, 1940. His 7th, a Hurricane at Poix on 5 June, 1940. His 8th & 9th, two Bloch 151s SE of Soissons on 6 June, 1940.
