Indeed it can't be a SFA number in any 15000 range

When Nieuport started their Type 29 production they did so in the 12000 range.
I have not.as far as I can remember, seen any Nieuport aircraft in the 11000 range, so it seems
SFA skipped that for some reason.

I can agree that the second digit looks like a 5 but a Ni 81 in a 1500 range is impossible unless it
was a rebuilt airframe.

Since Nieuport WW 1 aircraft and their SFA numbers are a complete mess, the data I have in the
1500 range are only Ni 12, 21, 17 and 12bis (some reworked as Ni 13 for the Yanks.

I have slowly begun a SFA list, but so far it only confirms what a mess this is.

With regard to photos, there are some published in Avion for example.
