If you go to Google World and zoom in on Henley-on-Thames, UK, you will find an avenue of trees in a country house garden.
To the West of this is a very clear Iron Cross, of trees, only visible from the air.
This is said to mark the crash site of a German a/c in the 2nd World War, and was planted by a mother of a crew member killed in the crash (so one story goes).
Does anyone know about this crash, or could they direct me to a site that would give me the information?
Thanks,
