V./KG 40 Puzzle
On 23 March 1943, I have claims for a B-17 by Hptm Hans Morr of 15 Staffel (59 Sqn Fortress) and a B-24 by Lt Ulrich Hanshen of 15 Staffel (511 Sqn Liberator). This is supported by Tony Woods' list. However, Hanshen's PERS 6 file states his first operational flight was 27 April 1943 and his first encounter with the RAF was not until 15 May 1943 so which is correct?
