I've looked through Hauet's Les Avions Caudrons and I still can't identify the variant shown in the link for the early machine..
The information on the Colombian machines was new to me and therefore was unable to influence my decision to identify the G.III as being with the EMA. I'd gone with the info in Davilla and Soltan,which indeed states Escuela Militar de Aviation,which has three G.III in service there in early 1922. So, while I happily accept Lennart's information about A-1 being the first on the civil registration, I wonder whether this was originally one of the three EMA machines,unless that unit's aircraft were civil registered. Any thoughts or info?
