Re: Bf109 somewhere in Austria
Daniel and Gabor Horvath, the authors of "Verified Victories: Top JG 52 Aces over Hungary 1944-45", identify it as the aircraft which Hptm. Helmut Lipfert, then Kommandeur of I./JG 53, overturned on 24.03.1945 at Vát airfield near the Hungarian/Austrian border.
