This WW2 ace and Korea air fighter was held as an instructor in Canada after he was commissioned (21 November 1941?). He appears to have instructed after training in Trenton at 9 SFTS both at Summerville and from July 1942 at Centralia, but his entry on this site'....

He was commissioned in November 1941, was he promoted to Flying Officer in November 1942? He made Flight Lieutenant in January/February 1944 and acting squadron leader in April 1945.
