Re: Zerstörergeschwader 76 - History of the German Luftwaffe unit 1939 - 1945

Hi Leon,

Indeed, I found out that 1943-45 period would be a half work...Therefore I asked Martin Žatkovič to join as an expert on 1939-40 period, and he managed to prepare photos and materials for this period (of course with help of some known names researching this period of WWII). We are happy, how it all nicely came together.
We were able to fill in some gaps, add some loss details, or assign photos to events. It is practically IMPOSSIBLE to cover all photographic material for this unit. There are few photos that were on eBay in the past but are somewhere lost in private collections. Also, the II./ZG 76 was the most photographed unit (I guess) during the French campaign and so on. But we managed to include 1000+ photos, of which quite a few are new. What more, I know that Vol.5 of Stipdonk/Meyer series will be a nice supplement in terms of photographic material, and that would made the overall ZG 76 picture even more complete.
Thanks for support and we hipe you (and others) will enjoy our book.

Peter
