A comment if I may. There is no controlling prices paid on eBay. None. As a collectibles dealer told me: "It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it." Full stop.
I find it amusing every time I see the "you obviously paid to much" comment online. Unlike comic books, there is no official price guide for Luftwaffe or Allied photos from the war.
