There is a book published by the US government on USAAF Squadron and Groups that show the unit emblem, but it is in black and white.

A new book has appeared recently, giving colour markings and schemes of USAAF fighters, and the 653rd Squadron colour crest is included to illustrate the text. The book is published by Schiffer Publications of Altgen, PA. The first volume is on bomber group and squadron markings, and the second volume details fighter group and squadron markings, all in colour.

Unfortunately, the text for the 25th BG is incorrect in many instances, including the drawings of aircraft colour scheme. Sorry, but I did not purchase the book, and cannot remember its title or author, even though I sent the author a listing of corrections. The corrections will appear in a+ second edition of the book.
