Re: Revi C/12 D

Well, me and my group (Romagna Air Finders) have recovered, near Padua 11/11/06, a Macchi C205V and between the wrecks we found the plate of the Revi c/12 D.
It is possible to read:
Revi C/12D
Bauart C. Zeiss Jena
Gerat-Nr.-127-22D-1
WerkNr.18367
Anf**derz. FI52095
Hersteller (?) OMW.

I was convinced that italian aircrafts were equipped only with the S.Giorgio gunsight but,is clear , I was wrong!

If possible I'll post a picture.

Quote:
Perhaps after the formation of the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana some German equipment may have been used
I agree...we found few plates written in German!

Do you have any pics or information on Italian gunsights ( S. Giorgio, etc.)?
No,I don't, at the moment.

Sorry for my English

Regards
Alessandro
