OP: Gennevilliers.
T/O 0027 Alconbury. Crashed at Dugny in the northern outskirts of Paris and some 6 km NW of Bobigny. The crew were initially buried at Dugny, but since the liberation, their remains have been taken to Viroflay New Communal Cemetery.

Re: F/Sgt.Peter Newton SCOTT, 591873 . He was Wireless Op on Liberator GR VIII, KH183 "FH⊙D" of 53 Sqdn on night circuit training, Pembrokeshire on the 8th July 1945 when he was killed. An engine broke up on take off from St.Davids. It swung and crashed into Emiych Farm and was DBF. He rests at Sleaford Cemetery, Lincolnshire.
