Our condolences to the family and friends of Corporal Joe Randall, who recently passed away. 🕯️
Joe was a proud RAF veteran who served with the Airfield Construction Squadron, landing in Normandy on D-Day +3.
Joe helped build the very first RAF B-19 runway just outside Caen, an achievement that made headlines back home.
Reflecting on his service, he once said:
“Be proud of yourself and be proud of the RAF, ‘cos believe it or not, we’re the best!” 💙
