Hi Kent. Think you are right as "Just Plain L" 44-13988 was Lefforge's and he's in flight clothes. As Ollie points out neither him nor Dal Maso are in the pilot photos. It's a shame as the NARA photos are very good quality. Couldn't find anything about Dal Maso assuming that's his name ? Full name Reno F. Dal Maso.
