I was thinking of that one because the plane lost was a P-61 model (425th NFS). Lewis flew this type of twin-engine aircraft starting in late 1943, while serving in various night fighter training squadrons before taking command of the 425th NFS. To give your plane a nickname, you have to be assigned it, you have to have your own “personal” plane, right? At least, that's what I assume. This P-61 probably belongs to the 425th NFS... but I do not see anything that matches. Mystery remains.
