Carsten. Don't know if you are still interested in this but the T/O II./JG11 late 43--early 44 was Uffz. Kurt Kriese; lost in Black <o+ on Jan.5 '44, shot down by P-51s near Neumunster. Part of Eighth AF Mission 176 was to Kiel not far north; escort of 354FG (P-51s Ninth AF) and 55FG (P-38s) claimed at least 20, most to 354th. The 109G in your photo which crash-landed Oct. 9 looks very repairable and was probably returned to service but may not be the same 109 ??


Uffz. Otto Turowski ( II./JG11) was shot down in a 109G marked <o+ but that was on 27 Sept.'43 in the sea.
