According Squadron Diary of 384th FS, Lt Parsley was reported 'flying at very low speed between Brussels and Ghent' on 13 April 1944.
Morning Report of Squadron has 17 a/c airborne and 15 returned, with 2 NYR. One of the NYRs (later listed MIA) was Lt. Walter Pogue. See

Since Lt Parsley had missions in later months until his crash landing in August 1944, I wonder if he managed to land 'away' on 13 April 1944?
Thanks for any info.
