ME means Mediterranean, it is the list of Allied crash reports established by the Germans in MTO. From memory, there are other series for bombers in the West and Germany (KU), for fighters in the same area anf a fourth for crashes in the east. I don't remember the codes of the last two.

Another way to have access to these German reports is the US MACR. If a German crash reports cover the same loss than a MACR, it is usually included in it.

By the way the ME series include both American and RAF losses, but it seems to me that only the ones related to US losses are online.
