Re: Airfields of the Luftwaffe
From ZaZeng Luftwaffe Airfields 1935 - 1945 Germany [1937 borders] Glienicke (GER): often appears in Allied documents in reference to an unidentified airfield, but possibly either Staaken or Schönwalde,both on the NW side of Berlin
I found a mention to this airfield in MACR 4068 (pg 3) with a drawing of the field and a direct connection as it says in the MACR they were stafing it. Airplanes on fire. This was 15-04-1944.
If i put this in google ai and ask which German ww2 airbase was there is says Fliegerhorst Wittstock (also known as Flugplatz Alt Daber). The dummy airfield Wittstock-Schweinrich was further away.
