Those photos of Korte's grave site would be helpful. I'm hoping that someone who might have been involved in the 2004 recovery of the aircraft remains might be able to provide some additional info on the markings or W.Nr. of the aircraft. Supposedly about 1/2 of the aircraft was recovered in a recent dig at the crash site, so there is the possibility that additional details of this aircraft might have been learned. You mention photos of the graves. My info indicates that some crew remains were recovered in the recent dig, so, as so often happens in these cases, the remains originally buried may have been fragmentary and incomplete.

Does anyone else know anything about this crash and the recent recovery of it?
