I have to admit, mistaking upper and lower Silesia. Thanks for correction!
But: i also found out Kattowitz was only the administrative capital of reunited german upper Silesia from 1941 - 45. Until 1941 Kattowitz was capital of the autonomous polish region of upper Silesia. Until 1938 the capital of the german region upper Silesia was Oppeln.
