Hi Delmenhorst,
Thankyou for your post - Yes I am aware that the incident refered to on the plaque is a mixup, and that particular Lancaster crashed near the Church in Stadil. Definitely Ltn Karl Rechberger shot down EE138 and was awarded the claim. Recently I have been attempting to identify and piece together the full Rechberger crew of the JU88, any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
