25.5.42 2 Ju88s KG30 MIA they could have shot down by Hurricanes from the following Convoys QP12 Empire Morn PO J.B. Kendal 1-Ju88 claim and PQ16 Empire Lawrence PO A.J. Hay claim 1-0-1 He111. Kendall was Fatally injured in bailing out and Hay was shot down and wounded by the convoys AA.
16.6.42 "homeward convoy" Empire Moon Hurricane PO Saunders Fw200 damaged. Pilot ditched and was rescued.
18.9.42 Convoy PQ18 Empire Morn Hurricane FO A.H. Burr claimed a He111 which could have been the one KG26 lost this day.
1.11.42 Convoy HG91 Empire Heath Hurricane PO N. Taylor (Ace) shoots down Fw200 of I/KG40. Pilot bails out and is rescued.
28.7.43 Gibralter to UK convoy 2 Fw200s claimed by Hurricanes 1 by Empire Darwin FO J.A. Stewart and 1 by Empire Tide FO P.J.R. Flynn. Both bail out and are rescued.
