Obstlt Wolf-Dietrich Meister, KG51
Hello,

I am looking for information about Obstlt Wolf-Dietrich Meister, who was the Kommodore of KG51 in summer and fall 1944, while Major Schenk was subordinated to him as Einsatzkommandeur KG51. As far as I know Oberstlt. Meister was not so dedicated to his job and hence, he was ordered back to the Generalstab. However, I don’t know the details for his dismissal.

Does anybody know more? Is there any publication that has more information about Wolf-Dietrich Meister (especially during the period Mai to December 1944).
