I met Walter today at the MAAM Air Show. He had a nice selection of prints to autograph. There was oppresive heat in the hanger, but he was in good spirits, even when one guy had six books for him to sign. Several guys also brought model planes for him to sign. One of his assistants said his books sold out in the first 45 minutes on Friday.
