Heaviest raids of the entire Blitz on London took place in the Spring of 1941: - April 16/17, 'The Wednesday' bomber sorties = 685, dropped 890 tonnes of H.E. + 4,200 canisters of incendaries, more than 1,000 killed
- April 19/20, 'The Saturday', bomber sorties = 712, dropped 1,026 tonnes of H.E. + 4,252 canisters of incendaries
- May 10/11, bomber sorties = 507, dropped 711 tonnes of H.E. + 2,393 canisters of incendaries
