Hi guys

Uffz Bongards was the pilot of Graf Spee's Ar196. He was apparently killed on 13/12/39 when about to take-off in the Arado during the naval action between the pocket battleship and RN cruisers off the River plate. Subsequently buried at Montevideo with other casualties from the battle.
Does anyone know his first name?
