Target was Wilhelmshaven U/Y. Lost to fighter attack on bomb run, crashed near Canarienhausen/ Waddewarden near Emden, Germany. the B and BTG were buried in Wittmund Cemetery the body of Arrison was recovered from the crash site some years after the war.

Heavy Bombers of the Mighty Eighth has the Sqn as 423rd BS 306 BG. coded as "RD-F".
