Hi guys

I realise I have enquired about this incident previously, but am still not certain of the date.

Can anyone confirm that Flt Lt Smith crash-landed a Blenheim at Martlesham on this date following a combat with a He111 - and, if so, was the Heinkel shot down or damaged? Can it be indentified? Do we know the serial number of Smith's Blenheim?
