Hello Molli,

1Lt. Clifford R. Oliver was Co-Pilot in B24D-5-LO serial number 41-23820 a/c letter "G".
Failed to return to St: Eval from an anti-Shipping Patrol over the Bay of Biscay.
Two empty dinghies were found in the general area of patrol, 75 miles North west of Brest. Loss was claimed by Oblt. Stolle of 8/ JG2 in a Fw190. Pilot arrived St: Eval on 27th November 1942 and was assigned to the crew. All are commemorated on the WOM Brittany Cemetery. 10 KIA
And it also says that the aircraft was under the administrative supervision of the 8th AAF and opperational control of the RAF Coastal Command.
