Hi, folks...

This intrigued me, so not being able to find anything in my references, I went on to Google.com and typed in a few words... not much information was forthcoming, except the undernoted, which was provided via postings by Binnacle and Lorenz on the Feldgrau.net website:

22 November, 1939, six Heinkel He111s attacking Lerwick harbour. They were from 2.Staffel/Kampfgeschwader 26 based at Westerland/Sylt, and succeeded in sinking a Saro London flying boat in the harbour, serial number L7042 of 201 Squadron.

This information appears in Fledgling Eagles, p121 (Shores).
