Re: Potez 637 No.678 and 11

Hello Robert,

Here is what I have at present. No time given for (678) I'm afraid.

GAO 1/551 Potez 63.11 (678). Returned damaged by light flak following reconnaissance sortie over Signy-L’Abbaye, Montcornet, and Liard sector. Capt. Massoni, S/Lt. Deplanque, and Sgt. Pegaz unhurt. Aircraft a write-off.

GAO 552 Potez 63.11 (637). Hit by flak and ground fire during reconnaissance of enemy troop movements between Arras, Bethune, and Cambrai. Undercarriage damaged so belly-landed at Saint-Omer 8.30 a.m. Lt. De Bort, Sgt. Domain, and Sgt. Plantier unhurt. Aircraft a write-off.

GB II/12 LeO 451 (11). Bomb load exploded during enemy bombing of Persan-Beaumont airfield 6.30 a.m. No crew casualties. Aircraft a write-off.
Three more aircraft were reported damaged in this explosion but no further details are known.
